    Wireless Internet Access

Mills-Peninsula provides free wireless internet access to our guest and patients at Peninsula Medical Center and Mills Health Center.

    What you need

You need a wireless or WiFi enabled device such as:

  • Laptops with PCMCIA antenna cards or embedded wireless antennae
  • Handheld devices that are WiFi enabled such as the Palm Tungsten C or the HP iPaq

Helpful hint: The stronger your device's antenna, the better the signal strength.

    How to log on

    PC users:

  • Turn on your device.
  • Using Windows XP and a WiFi enabled device, your device should automatically find the available wireless signal.
  • Select "Internet" from the available wireless networks.

    Mac users:
  • Turn on your device.
  • Using your Mac laptop with an Airport card installed or an embedded antenna, find the wireless detection icon in the upper right corner of your screen.
  • Click to find "Internet" and launch your browser.

All other wireless enabled devices may use our wireless internet connection. Use your device's directions for finding wireless networks.

There is no user name or password required.

For questions or comments, please call 650-696-5317 Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
